Hyperhidrosis Foot Sweating

Hyperhidrosis foot sweating may not seem like the worst disorder you could ever have. I mean, certainly you can't die from it and your overall health is unaffected. But the toll that hyperhidrosis foot sweating takes on your emotions leads you to become self-conscious in any situation.

It was humiliating really. Even when I was in high school I had the problem. Kids in gym class would tease me for the puddles of moisture that my socks would leave if i were to take my sneakers off. Beyond the emotional torment, hyperhidrosis foot sweating is uncomfortable.

When I first started dating my husband, it took me so long to become intimate with him. I was so afraid to take off my shoes because I KNEW underneath would be a pair of sopping socks dripping with sweat and a pungent odor that would take him right out of the mood. Hyperhidrosis foot sweating was taking its toll on my marriage.

The skin on my feet would look like California raisins half the time because of the constant exposure to moisture. Hyperhidrosis foot sweating left them with irritated patches of skin and consistent athletes foot infections from the constant exposure to bacteria.

I always thought that after I got married I could just forget about this problem. After all, who did I need to impress? But the fact is, having sweaty smelly feet plays a factor in everyday life and I just couldn't stand the thought of dealing with it any longer.

My alternative were botox treatments, surgery or finding a natural remedy.

Botox treatments are expensive. It's basically a procedure where doctors inject the sweat glands with botox to paralyse them. It works but you have to go back every six months for continued treatment. The bills begin to add up over time. I needed another alternative to my hyperhidrosis foot sweating.

Surgery was a bit too much for me to grasp. The procedure is called a sympathectomy. Doctors bypass the sweat glands to you don't perspire from the hyperactive ones. Unfortunately, many patients experience what's called compensatory sweating after the procedure. So if you go into surgery with sweaty feet, you may come out and 6 months later have sweaty hands. Not an ideal situation.

It takes about two weeks for the treatments to kick in, but once they do, you won't have any more foot sweating. I highly recommend you check it out.
